S7-400H and Flash Memory Cards

We have a S7 414-H(6ES7 414-4HJ04-0AB0) with a 2MB flash memory card (6ES7 952-1KL00-0AA0) running a CFC based safety program along with a normal user program.

It looks like some minor amendments have been made to the user program on a laptop PG and then downloaded to the PLC. We had recent shut that lead to the PLC being powered off for a while. After the plant restarted it looks like the minor amendments have been lost, which I guess is due to the copies on the memory card being used instead of the ones in the CPUs load memory.

I've read through the manuals and read the following thread ... /tf/WW/en/Posts/14400but have some questions.

In relation to safety programs and memory cards, the manual says that "Before switching the S7 F-System to RUN mode, compare the collective signature of the safety program on the Flash EPROM memory card to the collective signature of the reference data. If necessary, label the memory card with the collective signature.". How exactly is this done? Do you need to perform the compare with a PROMMER attached to the PG? Or can it be done with the memory card in the PLC?

IfI use"PLC > Download user program to Memory Card" with the memory card in the PLC (in STOP), does this copy the blocks from the laptop PG (as opposed to the load memory on the CPU)?
