Hello vicentibarbosa,

Which is the controller? If it is 840D SL you will need Simatic Manager Step 7 v 5.6. With LAN cable you can establish communication & upload PLC station.

If you have 840D PL, you will need Simatic Manager Step 7 v 5.4. If you have PG you can establish communication via MPI port with MPI cable & can upload PLC station. If you don't have MPI port you will need 6GK1571-1AA00 MPI USB adaptor to establish communication.
