As far as I know there is only one (actual) F-AI module. You can connect 2 or 4 wire sensors. Look into the manual or into this application. |

Hello Arpit your questions are of a very generic nature (nothing wrong with that), but there are unfortunately no simple (generic) answers tothem. It does depend on thetype of Instrument you use (e.g. isolated versus non-isolated) and to a lesser extend to the type of chosen AI card. Anyway, miami already supplied with you info/links about F-AI's so I'll just add a few hopefully useful links for "normal" AI's: Please note that all these links relate to S7-300 (ET200M) type AI's, if you want to use ET200S or S7-400's AI's etc. etc. you'll find similar connection info in their manuals too.
