Communication issues with PC/PPI cable fpr S7-200

We had followed the same setting   , for baudrate which is 9.6kbps for S7-200. We even tried to use 19.2kbps as well.

Comm Port for PCPPI set as per what detected by the laptop, which can be viewed at the Device Manager.

PCPPI local address by default set as 0 but we did tried some other numbers.PLC address(remote) is 2 for both Port 1 and 0.The Search All Baudrate was ticked. CPU was manually set as 226 but this should be auto detected once communication established.

The method you mentioned to me which is to Stop the PLC also done but not successful.We even tried many times to use eithet Port 0 or 1, both failed eventhough Port 1 whenever connected to the HMI shows no problem.

We did all the above with the settings mentioned for my CPU 224 - ok. For CPU 226 - not ok.

I believe I had made a clear summary of the issue with the correct term.

Did you ever get online with this CPU?

Was the CPU programmed by someone else? (Perhaps they use a Field PG to program the CPU, in that case it could be possible to set the baudrate to 187,5; which can not be set using a PC/PPI cable )

thnx for info, what I see you probably done everything what can be... Can you pls give us right number of both PLCs? 6ES7.... maybe CN is there?

Update: Wizard have perfect hint, this can be happen, pls what PPI cable you have, is that simple PPI or Multimaster cable? Maybe code of that cable can be Great and DIP switches position pls too.

really don't know, problem can be in that converter because isn't original Siemens brand. Can you pls post that screen from Microwin, PLC->Type->Communication? There are all parameters and Update icon to find CPU - Resfresh. With non Siemens converters can strange situations happen often.
