Dear BazzLightYear, The FB 125 is for visualization for faults in a Profibus networks. Sure you can see if there's a wire break or not using this way. If you just need the information, you can use RSE (Report System Error). You will know what's wrong through messages. You can easily configure what kind of information you exactly need in these messages in SIMATIC MANAGER. If you are interested, take a look at RSE for WinCC RSE for WinCC Flexible Another way you can use to detect the wire break is to make a quick function with little comparison todetect the wire break.
