We are receiving more and more questions regarding the current configuration of the SIMATIC Field PG M6. The configuration of a SIMATIC Field PG M6 can be created in the TIA Selection Tool. At the moment, only TIA version V16 can be selected. A changeover to V17 is in progress. Until the changeover has taken place, all SIMATIC Field PGs manufactured from now on will automatically contain the corresponding V17 licences, as the TIA Portal V17 has already been released for delivery. At the same time, the SIMATIC Field PG M6 also includes the installation DVDs for TIA Portal V17. The pre-installed software and the restore DVDs remain with V16.
