S5 95U and OP17 LOSS PROGRAM DATA

Mario1974 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	In our factory have an machine based work s5 95u and op17 panel. S5 95u don t have optional eeprom module After an long period without use (2 years) the backup battery its complet dead and i loss the program. I talk with the machine manufacturer and now have the original program.(can find in the atach) I transfer the program in follow order DB,FB,PB AND OB. The machine work now but after power off and again power on on op17 display have error system and the machine don t start. what can be the solution? The system running fine after download the program from pc to plc,but,after stop and restart the power supply on machine plc its allready run status,and on screen of op 17 have error system no.99,and machine not innitialize and not running.I think some parameter its changed after power off/on of plc.

I downloaded again the program in the plc and the machine work fine until change the plc swich from run to stop and stop to run again or swich off the power supply and again swich on power supply In conclusion ...my problem :a change in the program when have transition run/stop In the OP17 have now system fault..Machine it s blocked You can see this in atach. Jenda Experienced Member Joined: 10/24/2011 Last visit: 6/23/2024 Posts: 71 Rating: (4)	Hello Mario, the error message nr. #99 is generated from plc, not from OP17 in my humble opinion it may mean interrupting the safety circuit, active total stop. Furthermore, it may mean that the conditions for the home state of the module. Another possibility is that the machine was not switched off in the idle state. This may mean the machine is turned on, that does not remember its previous state before shutting down. I recommend to find what conditions would cause an error message number 99 in FB0 or some PB. I use FB0 for definition home(ground) state after reset machine or after switch off/on machine Jenda PS: You are from Czech ? If yes send me PM .... pokecáme

Hello Mario1974, For me this is not a system error (message) because system messages have before this symbol ($) if I remember correctly, but is generated by the PLC, you have the possibility or better, you have the programof thisOP17 to find these messages?

Mario1974 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dont have the program for OP 17 But it strange ...I downloaded the program from pc to plc conected to 2 nd pg port already in 1 nd ppg port it s connect OP 17. I make an test..i work with the machine 2 hours ,i make all changes possible to OP,The machine work properly,all its ok, And when change the status power on off or run stop,the machine its fault. Could be affected OP 17 by battery fault from plc/erase original PLC program ?

You must download the program from PC to PLC ??? Look after switching power off / on to the status variables fw180, fw182 and fw186. Some bits must be in "1". Which ? J. After power off/on must downloaded program from pc to plc but the machine work if only download the program in this order: first clear/reset PLC ,download DB,next FB,PB,and least OB block.If clear reset the PLC,\mark all block and transfer to PLC the effect it s same with my precedent posts(system fault on OP 17 PANEL) .I check this now....
