fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 11/11/2024 Posts: 3026 Rating: (1057)	Hello dzwilu have a look at this FAQ: Incorporating AG95U DP Slave as Slave on the Master CPU315-2DP and please find attached the DP Slave interface specific manual for your 95U (they came in different "flavours" as far as their onboard interface is concerned, yours has a DP Slave port which you probably know already). Thanks a lot, I have found how to configure a s5-95 as a slave station in DB1. But after entering the parameters and restarting the CPU, it does not go back into run mode... Any ideas?, someone? dzwilu Bronze Member Joined: 12/3/2008 Last visit: 3/22/2022 Posts: 146 Rating: (4)	Hi all, Thats what I did, I've taken the original DB1 (created by the CPU after restart), and edited the lines responsible for DP Slave according to the manual (line 158 as I remember : DPS: TLN 4 DPAE 33 ;'; ' END' - 33 stands for send 2 bytes, consistency total), downloaded it into CPU. After restart the CPU does not go into RUN again. I am using a PG Station PG 710 Plus to programm the S5. Might the problem be that my CPU is 6ES5 095-M8D02, and in the hardware catalog there is only M8D01... The I-Stack says that there is an internal and external stop request Best regards dzwilu

I see, before you do so please check something else: Go back to the default DB1 (do an overall reset to get it back if need be) and see if your 95U starts up (whichI believe it will). If this is the case we verified essentailly that you've broken some "rules" when you added the DP Slave parameters to it and there is now something wrong in your new DB1 configuration. If this is the case then have another good look at the "DB1 setup" rules, which are explained in the general 95U system manual (see chapter 9.4). Note too that you can add a so called "ERR" parameter block to DB1 (see a bit further down from the "DB1 setup" chapter in the manual) which will allowyou to "debug" the DB1 cofiguration fault.
