Raednabeel Posts: 96 Rating: (7)	I have installed WinCC 7.2 to use the built in communicaiton channel for S7-1200 series, but every time I try to enter an address for a tag the tag mangement gives me an error message and closes. while no such error while configuring S7 suite channel any one have faced this ? and solved it ? Regards

You have to install some additional files like WinCC Configuration Tool and WinCC Archive Tool under WinCC Expert when you run package installation. We had the same problem and resolved it by installing these files.

Will it be possible to run the installation again after an uninstall, possibly after a format. While running the set up dont miss to check the tools that i suggested earlier. Also make sure Simatic Net is installed. It would be available in the WinCC software DVD set.

Raednabeel Posts: 96 Rating: (7)	Dear Revathy, Thank you for the second advice, I made what you advised and same result It is not new behavoir in SIEMENS new serieses, and I have decided to ever never upgrade to any new release after at least ( 5 yesrs ) to be sure it is running and tested. NOT SOLVED Regards
