Leffe_77 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, On the PC is instaled Windows XP SP2, with WinCC V6.2 SP2. Every day, several time/day while WinCC is in runtime, runtime picture disappear. It is necessary start WinCC Explorer anddeactivate runtime, deactivation takes a long time and is necessary stop processes and restart PC. Could you suggest how to fix this?

Bilal Moolla Posts: 133 Rating: (9)	Hi Leffe_77 There is a quick fix Click on Start> Run and enter the text "reset_wincc.vbs" This will reset and deactivate wincc runtime and wincc explorer. But if you can supply more information we could try and identify what is the actual cause of your problem.

The goal is to find the real cause: check the diagnose folder (C:\Program Files\Siemens\WinCC\diagnose) use apdiag "C:\Program Files\Siemens\WinCC\uTools\apdiag.exe" if you can't find anything meaningfull, depending on your version, check if there are newer SP or updates for your version http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/10805585/130000 and indeed, more feedback can help to find the cause Brgds

Leffe_77 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	There are two PC's the first one with WinCC V6.2 SP2,the second with WinCC V6.2 SP2+HF8 but behaviour is same. In the HF8 this "WinCC runtime crashe" problem should be fixed (from readme file).

Questions: Your graphic dissappears in runtime? Can you describe this more? Can you navigate to other graphic screens? Are you still getting alarms and messages? At the end you should have all your WinCC machines be at the same version... Are you using a domain or sharing drives for your WinCC project on your PCs?

In the HF8 this "WinCC runtime crashe" problem should be fixed (from readme file). so are you talking 'bout a server/client situation? in that case, both need to have the same version, inclusive the HF8.

Hi Leffe_77, I don't know what would be the causer of your disappearance of HMI Runtime Screen. But since personally I've encountered this problem several times before, I would like to share the way I have my RT screen come back. (Mine was resulting from my OLE-Automation caller/ bad coding and so on.) To be in brief, I don't think you need to "start WinCC Explorer and deactivate runtime...". Please take a look at the situation I rebuilt as attached, and try one of the solutions inside the attachment. (Please try to excute "ReInitialize_PDLRT.vbs" first.
