LOGO 8.3 communication is significantly slower than previous Logo8 units?

Heiy its 2023 and issues remain... I uploaded empty website to logo 8.2 and 8.3, then measured website loading time with chome after you press login. 

1. 8.2 around 10s
2. 8.3 around 30s (http) version.

Then another test, added 1 push button and background image to site.

1. 8.2 around 10s
2. 8.3 around 31s

Then uploaded my 4 page project to 8.3 and clocked 42s. Same opens in 8.2 around 13s.

 For the LOGO! 8.3 you will not get a solution.

If at all, then in a possible LOGO! 8.4 (or 9.0?).

 

This is called sloppy firmware programming and unwillingness to fix bugs. I don't think 8.3 hardware would be many times slower than 8.2. Moving software development to China was a mistake that would bite back for years to come.

As for 8.4, LOGO! 8.2 and earlier are EOL products for years, so only variant available off the shelf remains flawed 8.3. And Siemens seems happy with that.

I see the same problem. Since version 1.1 and 1.1.1 with an 8.3 (0BA1) the websites are inaccessible or 5 times slower when they work, even in non-secure, moreover I am only in non-secure. I see it in developer mode on the chrome browser you can see the load times and the problem files. This same file is 5 times faster on an LWE 1.1.1 in an 8.2 (0BA0).

I contacted my distributor who has a Siemens support service and he noticed the same problem. He will contact the product manager and tell him about this problem because we are not talking about slowness but about an inaccessible site as soon as there are a few objects. And it is a commercial argument of Siemens to have an embedded website...

For the LOGO! 8.3 you will not get a solution.
If at all, then in a possible LOGO! 8.4 (or 9.0?).

 

 Hi, I just received the 0BA2 8.4 and the problem is solved. It's significantly faster.
