WinCC Unified – Simple Sample - Recipes (Parameter set)

Hi,

As of TIA V17 there is a new property, "Hide details" which hides the details of the parameters sets. This is particularly useful when you want to make an object available for download/upload but want to avoid editing.

If you remember can you please advise how the simulation is supposed to be run?

There is PC system and also HMI RT - please see screenshot from that small demo project about recipies.

Is it running only on the browser like normally wincc unified do during simulation?

Thanks for the sample project.

Using text lists in the Recipe Parameter Control Object is quite useful.

However I can't seem to get the text lists to work correctly when I add the object myself, even when I add it into your sample project.

The text lists work fine in your Recipe Parameter Control Object, but when I use a new object I get "[object Object]" in the value column of the parameters that are using text lists.

I've compared all the parameters between the objects but can't find any differences.

Do you have any idea what could cause this ?

I found out what was wrong,

My TIA user interface was in French.

If the TIA user interface is in another language than English, when the object is integrated into the screen, the Object Properties Values are set in the interface language. For the text lists to work the "Name" of the Value column (not to be confused with the "Column header") must be "Value".

To use text lists in the Recipe Parameter Control Object, the TIA user interface must be in English.

Other solutions to use the TIA user interface in another language than English :

- Change the name of the Value column to "Value".

- Change the TIA user Interface language to English before adding the object and change it back afterwards.
