WinCC Unified – TIP’s personalizing the clients runtime with My WinCC Unified

Hi, As from WinCC Unified V18 up3 (RT PC) it is possible to set how Runtime is displayed in its Web clients. To configure that, in the runtime PC, WinCC Unified start Web Page (e.g. https://computer name) there is now a new menu item: My WinCC Unified - Manage your Project settings The readme of the TIA V18 Update 3 has a good description of the feature (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/br/pt/view/109817218/en) in chapter 4.5.2.5 I copy here some interesting points about the feature: “My WinCC Unified works rule based. For each rule, you define: • For which client device the rule applies. The rule is applied to all Web clients that are installed on the client device and log in to the Runtime of the Unified PC. • Whether auto-login is active. If auto-login is enabled, the Web client can automatically log in to Runtime without entering a username and password (auto-login). A default user who has no function rights is used to log in. • Which start screen is displayed after logging in to Runtime. • Further details on the display of the start screen (section, start point etc.)” In the document there are also descriptions about Restrictions, Requirements, Installation and Operating.
