As from the read me of the up2 in SIOS (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/br/pt/view/109817218/en): “... The operating state of an S7-1200/1500 PLC can be read and set via system variables. @ConnectionName_PLC_OpState reads the state of the PLC. @ConnectionName_PLC_OpStateCtrl sets the state of the PLC. The tags are available if a connection to a PLC of the type S7-1200/1500 is configured. The tags are available as of version 18.0.0.2. If the version of a device is changed to an older version, these tags are no longer available. If the connection is removed or the connection type is changed, the tags are removed. This functionality replaces the system functions "SetPlcMode" and "GetPlcMode". ...“ TIPs: @ConnectionName_PLC_OpState can be read, but not write @ConnectionName_PLC_OpStateCtrl can be written, but not read. both have similar meaning 8 PLC in RUN state 4 PLC in STOP state To get the connection state, use the qualify property of the @ConnectionName_PLC_OpState or of some PLC tag as usual (more details about quality property, see system help, > Information System > Visualizing processes > Reference > Quality codes of HMI tags; See also the post at WinCC Unified – Simple Sample – Communication live bit monitoring Project Attachment Project4.zip (732 Downloads)
