Hello everyone. Last saturday I tried to follow the instructions present on the english TeamviewerVPN TIA Portal Connection English_compressed.pdf document to try to check if I am able to connect to the remote Plc using the Teamviewer VPN connection but unfortunately for me it doesn't work and I can't understand why. I need to understand where can be the issue because I am not able to diagnosticate it. The configuration is this. My local PC with Win 10 Professional with TIA Portal V16 last update connected to the remote PC using Teamviewer VPN. All the configuration is "inside" my company. So also the remote PC is connected inside my company to Internet using internal wifi. The VPN connection works properly and I can ping on both side the PCs. Is not the same when I try from my local PC to ping the Plc and I can't understand where the communication is blocked. I tried to make a tracert (in attachment, if it can help) and seems that something start from remote PC but after first step the communication is blocked (Unfortunately I am not an network expert). The thing that I added and that it is not written on the document is that I set the "Router" IP address inside the Plc hardware configuration equal to the IP address set on the remote PC about the LAN card (192.168.10.100). For the rest I followed "exactly" (the Plc has got the IP: 192.168.10.210) the document and the only thing that I can say is that for me the paragraph 2.7 has a wrong title: the correct one is "Configure Remote PC and connect via Teamviewer VPN". Where can be the issue? Are there some case that the configuration doesn't work? Thanks. BR. Franco ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
