I already tested also with gmail and is not working properly.

I created a ticket support at Siemens AG.

I am quite sure we do need to allow some third device to use SMTP... anyway... as soon as I have news will let you know!

Hi,

make sure that date&time and all IP-Setting are configured. A timestamp is necessary to login to the SNTP Server. All IP information are necessary to send the RQ via Internt to the SNTP Server.

Hi, I did synchronize the Clock and even with this is not working properly. 

What do you mean IP-Setting?

IP Adr., Sub-Net and Gateway Adr.

If this is not complete configured, then LOGO! cannot connect to the E-mial server.

Yes I did receive some tips from Siemens AG.

All tips I did and is not working properly yet.

I am trying with gmail because is more simple way.

SAG also requested to have a CA certificate from email provider, gmail in this case, but I do not know how to download it.

Do you know how?

this documentation is too complex...

I was waiting some link that we can just make download...

I don't know if it's good news, but I was able to send a test email successfully.

But not with Gmail, with one.com

I also have a website and an email account with one.com

Here's the configuration:

Server name: SEND.ONE.COM

Security: STARTTLS

Port: 587

My email:[snip]

My password: ..........

I did a test to my personal Gmail account.

And miraculously, I received:

I then had a breakdown on my machine and I did receive an alert email.

Now, here's how I feel. I find it quite mediocre to sell dreams. I receive advertisements for the new logo. Great, I imagine all the possible applications for my machines, but it doesn't work on Gmail yet. Gmail is fundamental. By using a mail server that's surely less efficient and less secure, it works!

I don't understand why Siemens would put a half-finished product on the market?

I hope my makeshift solution can be useful to others.
