Changing the IP Address on PLC and HMI

Andy Moods Posts: 33 Rating: (0)	Hi I have been trying to change the IP address on the PLC and HMI to an accepted one used by the industry. I tried the option of assign IP address in the online and diagnostics tab but it does ot do anything. I then changed it in the hardware config and it worked for the PC but not the HMI so now it does not communicate with the HMI. How can i change both the address. Thank you in advancefor any help

This way is very easy. About HMI look at http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/43997872 This FAQ doesn't regard directlly your problem, but there has explanation how to set IP address of the panel concerning CPU IP address in order to establish communication.
