communicating with single board linux pc

Smartbit Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hello to you all,Does anyone know if it is possible to communicate through ethernet to a single board computer based on linux software? Communication on bit level would do the trick allready. It should be a bi-directional communication between the pc and the OBA7. I dont care if it takes a home-brew piece of software, as long as it works. If not possible can it then be done with a S7-1200? I didn't realize that communicating over the ethernet in the Siemens perspective means communicating only to other Siemens equipment or software. I thought we would finally have an open platform (dream on dear friends).
