Impossibility to run Step 7 Basic v10.5

r.u.m.c.a.j.s Posts: 6 Rating: (1)	Dell PC with XP SP3 with installed Step Proff. 5.4 + SP3, WinCC Flex 2008, SIMATIC NET 2008, OPC Server, etc + standard MS Office + Norton Antivirus. Installation of Step 7 Basic v.10.5 SP1 + SP2 without any problems by IT admins. I cannot run it as the Power User (with admin rights soft runs without any problems). Screenshot in attachment. Logs sent to Siemens support, without results, they are still thinking... Does anybody have found similar situation, and know how to get rid of it ? rumcajs. Attachment error.JPG (905 Downloads)

r.u.m.c.a.j.s Posts: 6 Rating: (1)	Subject closed. Solved by Siemens support. It was necessary to add Power Users and Users groups to the:"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum" registry key. rumcajs.
