Hello Samir, your informations are sadly too little helping you. The LED state shows, that the IWLAN/PB link is in STOP and has an system error. How do you bind the IWLAN/PB Link in your network? Do you use the module only as gateway or additional as PN device? What diagnostic informations do you get while going online (module information, diagnostic buffer etc.) Do you reach the IWLAN/PB Link via ping? Please upgrade your module to V1.3 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/38616756 A few more informations would be great Greetings, Pittiplatsch |

Thanks Pittiplatsch, 1)I am using the IWLAN PB link module as a Gatewaywith the W788-1PRO module. 2)CPU 315-2PN is connected with the W788-1PRO scalance module.IWLAN PB LINK module is connected with a IM 151-1 standard module (with PM-E and 8DI,8DO). 3)While accessing the modules via Simatic manager Hardware configuration "PLC>Edit Ethernet Node>Browse" it is only showing the W788-1PRO scalance and CPU.I have tried to access via "Primary Setup Tool"but same result. 4)The IWLAN PB LINK module is new and has no IP so Idid not try to access it via Ping.I have notice that Scalance W788-1 PRO has no error the L2,P1,R1 LED are ON. 5)CPU diagnostic Buffer showing "can not access module and other msg" Regards, Samir AttachmentIWLAN PB LINK Setting.zip (73 Downloads) |

Hello Samir, as your HW Konfig shows, you use the IWLAN/PB Link as Gateway AND PN-Device. So the Link needs a PN Name. If your IWLAN /PB Link is new, you can follow the first startup as in this manual described http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/21379908 (Chapter 3 and 4). Please follow these steps and bind the link in your network as described. Greetings, Pittiplatsch |

Dear Pittiplatsch, The IWLAN PB Link module has some problem.I have configured the access point with another IWLAN PB Link module and it is working ok.Thanks for your prompt responses. I am facing another problem, We have 6 access point at different location. But 1 access point showing 76% overlap of signal interference of other 5 access points.I have configure all the access points as "Open system" and no IP filter is there.PLC not able to detect the remote node via IWLAN gateway. How to over come this problem. Regards, Samir |
