Can anyone help me to clear my basic doubt.

In servo brake motor, there is brake cables of black and white cable, normally it is connected to motor power connector for new motors.For checking should i give 24V externally ?.

In some old motors one 24 connectors are there and we have to give 24V externally, now recommends to connect on power connector. Any technical reasons/protections included? Should i connect external 24V too?

If i have changed +ve and -ve connections for brake, is it will cause for Brake damage ?

First of all, a 24V brake is 24V.  No mystery there.  Polarity is not important

There are several reasons to use the internal brake connection.

- There is internal brake control logic controlling the output.
- There is a surge suppressor.  Brakes are large inductive loads and you will get large voltage spikes which may damage your supply.

So, you CAN connect a 24V supply for testing, but use the standard connections for permanent installation.

But i have to ask, In power connector there is brake connection and which specifically mentioned + and - sign. 

So i thought there is polarity concern !!!

Can you explain where the Surge suppressor located, is it in drive or motor.??

Surge suppressor is in the drive or external brake relay, not the motor.

DC relays have an A1 and an A2, even though they can be connected either way.
