Hello, Lot's of guestions in one post Some answers. You don't have to stop the PLC to download or upload (300 and 400 CPU) The older 300 had a switch position RUN-P to be able to program in run. If you want you can stop/restart the plc with step7 (operating mode) SDB's contain the hardware information that was build with the Hardware Configuration. The only time you need to put in stop mode is you are changing the hardware configuration |
