Hello Rahimpour S5-95U / 102U / 103U all support TTY ( 20mA Current Loop ) programmer interfaces with AS511 protocol which cannot be networked directly and can only be connected on individual Serial links. Moreover it can communicate with only one device at a time. i.e. if a programmer is permanently connected then same port cannot be used for HMI. You can however look at this option : http://www.ibhsoftec.com/IBH-Link-S5-PP-Eng This device allows you to network S5 PLCs on Ethernet and helps in easy networking of S5 PLCs. Hope this helps Cheers Navnag |

Hi Rahimpour, I don't know how many CPU's do you have to network but you can replace them with 95U CPU'swith an additionalsecond Profibus-L2 interface. In that case you can keep everything existing as is and connectyour SCADA through Profibus. This is just an option, best would be to migrate the whole system to S7 directly. Best Regards. |
