Hello mahbtt; For the first part of your question, why don't you simply download the demo version of the software, it is fully functional, the main difference is that you will get SF active LEDs while you run the program until you install the license. You can find the demo software in the Downloads section of the IT4Industry site: https://www.industry.siemens.com/services/global/en/it4industry/products/simatic_add_ons/s7_open_modbus_tcp/pages/default_tab.aspx?HTTPS=REDIR For the second part of your question, the same link above contains the following quote: "For the MODBUS blocks for the PN PLCs, thereare the additional options of a Wizard which provides the possibility of a very fast and comfortable configuration." So you have to develop your own configuration for comms over a CP 343-1, refer to the manuals you can also download from the site, and FAQssuch asthis one (search the forum for more references): How do you use the blocks for MODBUS/TCP communication over an Industrial Ethernet CP of S7-300 and S7-400 in STEP 7 Professional V11/V12 (TIA Portal)? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
