SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES (6SE7087-6CX86-2AA0) Fault Summary Here are some backgrounds regarding the Inverter 6SE7087-6CX86-2AA0 design of our system. There are 3 inverters for each side that can be interchangeable to controlling 2 motors by manually connect the cables. At the very beginning, Inside no.1 inverter had experienced a fault stop which the fault code shown F015 – Motor Stall. The system would fault stop suddenly. Also, even the system is steady, the output torque from the inverter remains >90%. The faulty inverter has been replaced by a new inverter, however, seems the new control card (CUVC) cannot run the new inverter, another old spare CUVC control card had been replaced. After that, although the system can normally run most of the time, a stoppage occurred when the system restarted. The SCADA system indicated an unexpectedly high output torque of 90%, causing the stoppage. Also, even the system is steady, the output torque remains >90%. By measuring the Torque output signals, it showed transient peaks and intermittent fluctuations, particularly during motor start/stop. The other inverters also shown the transient peaks and intermittent fluctuations, but not as obvious as the Inside no.1 inverter and no fault stop occurs. P.S: 1.
