Please look at myyesterdays post. As I understood, you need to measure the particular block cycle execution time. I can suggest you to delete all others blocks online and call only this given particular block in OB1. After it you can take a look at CPU properties online, or use OB1_MAX_CYCLE parameter to know the exact execution time. However, resolution of such measurement will not be less then 1 ms. For a faster times you need to look atmiamipost insame thread. Hope it helps.

In Siemens CPUs, monitoring time for cycle execution cannot be less then 1 ms (maybe some of the experts can add some more details). Can I ask you, what for you need to know the cycle scan time less then 1 ms for particular block? If you can provide full order number for your CPU, I can look in the manual, but for now, please usethis manualas reference example (see pages 171 to 200). Also, on page 193 of the same manual you can find a cycle time calculation examples, which can guide you thru the correct way of calculation. Good luck anyway) |
