I have a similar question

I have a system that is a PC with wincc flexible 2008 runtime and S7-200 plc.

The connection available is only one (don't know why). I can't even be with wincc flexible and microwin at the same time connected.

But they asked if there's a chance to install a panel in the field.

Can I setup a server-client configuration with wincc flexible or can I use OPC server in one runtime and OPC client in panel to transfer all the data and commands?

 Hello,

All Basic or Comfort Panels can be connected to S7-200.

Please check your interface as some panels have only PN interface and you did not told us if you have Ethernet CP in S7-200 or not.
