Hello all.

Ok I’m running the runtime and monitoring some external tags that execute some Ansi-C code while this tags modified. I am using 2 Siemens 1200 PLC.

This is with the purpose of writing some data in the UserArchivesControl table.

Problem is that every time i unplug one of the PLC (Testing In case it actually gets disconnect), my scripts start to get very slow, i get my external tags updated like 10 seconds later, so then my script is executed after the 10 seconds, and without the PLC unplug i get the response immediately.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Well the problem is not with the PLC that i disconnect, but with the second PLC that is still connect. I’m doing the test with 2 PLC's.

I disconnect one of the PLC's and I still have the second PLC connected, so in theory my second PLC scripts would work, but what i get is very slow scripts.

But then i connect the other PLC and all the scripts of the second PLC get faster.

This happens whether i disconnect one PLC of the other.

Ok i found out the problem, it wasn't a WinCC problem, it was my OPC. I’m using Kepserver and i had to change some default values of the timing because every time the OPC doesn’t find the tag it wants to immediately find the tag and gets in an infinite loop trying to find the tags, making it slower to update the rest of the tags.

Ps. I Should of begin saying that I am using KEPServerEx V4
