What is the best way to generate DELAY ?

ChessMaster Posts: 84 Rating: (1)	I want to do some procedure when i pressing the bottom and after 10 sec doing some other procedure. I used making delay with loop, but this is not a good way because of in delay time, screenwill befreezed and operator can not do anything until end of delay. Please help me better way to generating delay without freezing the screen.

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (172)	Hi using functions like "sleep()" is worst thing for your WinCC perfomance. I would set a tag in my S7-cpu e.g. in a cyclic OB and then trigger an action by a change of this tag. nemo
