WinCC 7.0 SP3 No connection with PLC

JJ99 Posts: 83 Rating: (0)	I have S5 plc with WinCC Runtime V7+SP3+Update1. I Can ping to PLC address but there is no connection on scada. I do research and found need to change "system parameter in TCP/IP under tag managment" But I do not see TCP/IP under tag management Pls see pic and advise. Tks Attachment Capture.PNG (107 Downloads)

This has nothing to do with TCPIP. The communication driver "SIMATIC S5 Programmers Port AS511" is utilized for the serial connection through a TTY interface to the SIMATIC S5 automation system. see manual "WinCC: Communication" WinCC channel "SIMATIC S5 Programmers Port AS511" https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/37436836/7852543115 If you would like to use TCPIP, you need to create a connection below the channel "SIMATIC TI Ethernet Layer 4" https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/37436836/7798806539 Regards Georg Berghof

You could use the SIMATIC Assessment Suite - Data Collector (SAS-DC) - formerly known as SIMATIC Diagnostics Tool (SDT) - to collect diagnostics and system information from the WinCC-Computer. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/65976201 Then create a Service Request, and send the Diagnosticdata to the Technical Support of Siemens.
