WinCC alarm message value missing intermittently - parsing configured associate value from process value

The issue I am facing is, the WinCC alarm message value missing intermittently - please see the picture attached. It works most of the time but sometimes, the associate value parses as 0 value. Somehow, the WinCC does not parse the Process_value_3 to value properly. Please see the picture attached for the alarm configuration. My current setup as below: PLC S7-400 connection to HMI WinCC v7.3 in Win7. Any idea? or is there a known bug for this issue? Thank you very much! bg2492 Diamond Member Joined: 5/16/2014 Last visit: 9/12/2022 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello ewtan, if you use "chronological reporting" with Alarm_8 (SFB34) or Alarm_8P (SFB35) all information (timestamp and process-values) are send from the PLC by telegram. If there are missing or wrong values, the problem maybe on the PLC site. The telegram from the PLC is interpretet in WinCC by the Format DLL "NRMS7pmc.nll". You could check the logfiles of WinCC, if you can find messages with the Format DLL "NRMS7pmc.nll" Regards Georg Berghof

I tried to search the WinCC diagnose folder with "NRMS7pmc.dll" but has no luck finding any clue. In fact, I believed that the Process_value_n, in this case, the Process_value_3 has successfully arrived in HMI. Under normal condition e.g. from the 1st post "Output Data from Alarm Control Export.jpg", column "Process_value_3", row 1: 30.56423569 -> 31 L = OK row 2: 50.53529739 -> 51 L = OK .. BUT row 4: 30.60474396 -> 0 L = Not OK For this case, @3R%3.0f@ L is configured, which translate to 3rd associated value (Process_value_3) which is Real and formatted to "Fixed point number" with 0 digit after the decimal point and has total 3 digits. I suspect the configuration of the associated value, https://cache.industry.siemens.com/dl/files/503/62121503/att_29/v1/62121503_wincc_tia_alarms_e.pdf when parsing from Process_value_3, an error/bug might occur intermittently that parsing the value to "0 L" in the WinCC. Anyone has seen a similar issue before? Thank you.
