Black Mullie Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, ALM V4.0 i's not working. After installing Step 7 V5.4 SP4 or WinCCflexible2008 automatically ALM V4.0 will be installed. But when ALM V4.0 is installed Step 7 and WinCCflexible2008 starting without licenses. When I try to start ALM V4.0 it will not start. After uninstalling ALM V4.0 and installing ALM V3.0 SP1 everything is working fine. My colleague has the same problem. We both have a Dell laptop Latitude D620 with XPproV2002SP3. but how long can I still use ALM V3.0? Some day I have to use ALM V4.0!

umencho Grandmaster Joined: 3/21/2006 Last visit: 1/10/2026 Posts: 10247 Rating: (1183)	Hello Very important for understanding of the reasons of problems in this case are other details, namely presence of antiviruses, incompatibles with other established products of Siemens.It is possible to try uninstall ALM3 through Installation/removal of programs and to establish ALM4 anew. In case of if after successful installation and start of a computer will write about can't start or similar service ALM, through the contextual menu of My Computer to look the section of services ALM - sometimes happens, who that forbids these services. Also there suggest to reinstall ALM with obligatory restart of computer. Hope this help you. regards

If you are not able to start the service manually, there must be some entries in windows event logs. Can you post them? Note, there are several FAQs about ALM. I guess there is one solving your problem But you need the eventlogs for details.

Black Mullie Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	The problem is solved. I was using Teleservice 6.1 this program was the problem. After installing Teleservice 6.1 SP2 the problom was solved. My colleague was using Teleservice 5.1. So that program also was the problem.
