Block_db variable and data blocks generation

I declare a block_db variable in my declaration table, that is what I guess you need for the instance data block that the fnction block would be using. My question is, do I need to generate manually the data block for each instance of the big function call? Thanks for any information and excuse me if my writing is not very clear, I am not a native speaker.

Hi Kankumo, you mean If you have created a Big function Block (or multiple instance)so you have to create manually DB for same? if it is you Question then no. it will created by the Software only. you have to just Declared in State & call, then just call the FB & give the DB no. I was trying to call a function block inside a function with the data block for the function block as a variable. But with the mutiple instances a manage to do the same. Thank you very much.
