Connection to OP17

The - O Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	Using: Simatic S7 V5.2 SP1 Protool 6.0 SP3 On one of our laptop we get no connection with OP17. Communication with CPU on this laptop in simatic manager is not an problem so the com port is working correctly The same project on another laptop with downloading the project to the OP17 is not an problem. It seems to be a problem with the laptop and the COM port in combination with protool. Any suggestions ? Also we become an error 4028

The - O Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	Of coursewe put the OP in transfer mode and we using the correct cable. It's working on the other computer without a problem. Should be something else

If you're sure of the cable and the OP mode then I guess you need to look at other things on the PC. Do you have any Rockwell software on the PC? It can be reluctant to give up the com port acess for some applications. I just realised you said laptop - some laptop manufacturers also have bios utilities which can do the same thing. I've seen this before with Dell, Compaq and lately with brand new HP - it was the wireless driver in that case.

shahid Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I also have same problem as mentiond above. I have dell laptop. but my lap top cannot communicate with OP17. No connection with OP17 message appreas and Error 4027 Synchronization faulty message comes in message pan. I have used another laptop of different company with same settings and cabelings but it is downloading program in OP17. Can you let me know how to come over this problem. waiting for kind response
