CPU - Diagnostic Buffer

Marciel Posts: 21 Rating: (3)	Hello I read about OB100 101 e 102 and I understood what the principle of operation these ogarnization blocks. But, I'm trying to acess the variable TEMP OB101_STRTUP as follows: L #OB101_STRUP T MW 0 So, nothing happens when I reset the CPU. What am I doing wrong? This code above is in OB101, there is nothing in OB1. Best Regards!

Dear marciel, I think checking the start up tab in CPU properties in hw config will be helpul to decide which OB(100,101,102) is executed in case of start up! OB100->Warm restart OB101->Hotrestart OB102->Coldrestart also this link for more information: What is the difference between a restart (warm restart), cold restart and hot restart of a S7-400 CPU? Marciel Posts: 21 Rating: (3)	Thanks for your help ! I was using a CPU 315-2 DP, it just have the OB 100 ( Warm Restart ). Now I can get the temporary variables of own OB 100 and handle the events. So, just for more information hdhosseini, still about organization blocks, then when I want to get some specific information about the module I must insert the correct OB, and within this OB manage the temporary variable that give me the information, OK !? Thedoubt is,I just insert some OB (Thereisno code inthis OB) does not mean that the information will be present in Diagnostic Buffer when thisOB is called, correct? Best Regards hdhosseini ! Just with that OBs temps you receive an extra info - let's say in details. The same story with errors OBs. Which organization blocks do you need for error handling? Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
