How to use the symbol the other way

MBerkers Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am using step 7 V5.4 to program fire truck applications. Because the lay-out of fire trucks differs from customer to customer and the function in many cases not,I want to easily connect inputs and outputs of the PLC system without changing the software. One way of doing this, is change the adress connected to a symbol in the "symbol editor". Problem is by changing the adress, in the software the symbol is changed on the softwarefunction input and not the adress. I want the adres to change on the software function input when editting the "symbol editor". Is there a setting within step7 to realise this? Thx,
