KTP600 doesn't work

Galo003789 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a problem, when I was updating the OS of the panel the process stops and then show a communication interrupt message, but the cables and connections were fine, and then the panel doesn't work any more. When I re-boot the panel after 30 minutes of not get any type of communication between the panel and TIA V11 sp1, the panel doesn't launch the boot loader, it stays in the blank screen that appear before it starts. Is there a way to re-install the boot loader?? or another way to fix this problem?? Regards Galo Attachment DSC_0122.jpg (767 Downloads)

Back Up Licenses and Authorizations If the operator panel no longer boots automatically, then you can no longer access the file system. Then you cannot back up the existing recipes and licenses. 2. PG/PC: Setting the PG/PC interface You only have to make a setting in the PG/PC interface with the "Ethernet" transfer type.  Open the "PG/PC interface" under "Start > Settings > Control panel > Set PG/PC interface". – Select S7ONLINE under "Access point of the application". – Under "Interface Parameter Assignment Used" you select "TCP/IP -> <Network Card Name>". 3. Operator panel: make transfer settings on the operator panel No transfer settings can or need to be made on the operator panel. 4. Operator panel: power supply Switch off the power supply for the operator panel. 5. Establish cable connection Connect the operator panel to the PG/PC according to the transfer type selected.

In Simatic Pro Save insert real IP and set IP in your PC. Example Pro Save IP - 192.168.0.2 PC IP - 192.168.0.100 Massk - 255.255.255.0. 3. In OS update set - Reset to factory settings. 4. Open Image. 5. In HIM power off!!! 6. click Update OS. 7. And in Him set powwer on. 8. wait. But my attempts was unsuccessful. The error message is, No connection could be established. Please verify your settings, interfaces, cables, device type etc. So can you guys help me out in this urgently? Also i have a query, where i can find Boot option in the HMI? I didnt find any boot option in Control Panel of HMI. So that i boot device directly by cutting its power. Am i doing this right or wrong? Thank you in advance

Hello Totostyle If you have a KTP600 DP (Basic Panels 1st Generation) then you can perform a Reset to factory settings only with one of these two cables: RS232/PPI Multi-Master cable 6ES7 901-3CB30-0XA0 USB/PPI Multi-Master cable 6ES7 901-3DB30-0XA0 Other cables or adapters do NOT work in this situation. Bye Murof
