I'm having an issue with a Siemens KTP700 Basic HMI (part number: 6AV2123-2GB03-0AX0) that is currently unable to start up correctly. When I power it on, it gets stuck on the initial startup screen and does not proceed any further. To try and resolve this, I attempted to perform a USB recovery (reset to factory settings) following the instructions provided in the Siemens support document: [Insert the link you provided here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109744950]. I have prepared a USB drive with the necessary firmware files and followed the steps outlined in the document to enter the USB recovery mode on the HMI. However, during the recovery process, the HMI displays an error message indicating that it cannot find a compatible firmware file. I have tried several different firmware versions, including:
Unfortunately, none of the firmware files I have tried have been recognized by the HMI for the recovery process. Could anyone in the forum provide some guidance or suggestions on how to proceed with the recovery of this KTP700 Basic panel? |
