Hello ALMOHARG, I can only recommend restarting PLCSIM, or restarting TIA Portal first and then restarting PLCSIM after the project has been reloaded. Also check whether the PG/PC interface is set correctly. Check whether the firmware of the installed real CPU matches the configured firmware in the device configuration. Check that you have not accidentally established an online connection to a real CPU. Here is a link to an FAQ: With best regards |

It is not exactly clear what the symptoms are of your situation. It may be a 'communications' problem. So doing a PC restart is a good first test, as suggested already. There was a time that I have had a problem also. It was resolved by updating PLCSIM. Currently I have PLCSIM V5.4 SP8 Update 2, but Update 3 is now available. I do not know if your issue has the same origin as mine. It may be that you have now Win11 24H2 that could cause problems (baseless opinion). Consider making a Windows Restore Point before attempting an update. Here is the update: [LINK: Trial Software SIMATIC S7-PLCSIM V5.4 SP8 including Updates] |
