Question for remembering data

The_beginer Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello everybody, i apologize in advance if there is already answer in the FAQs .I have a simple question . In the attached picture there is a part of ladder logic in simatic 300 CPU 315 - 2PN/DP. What i want to do, is to remember data in address MD26 ,after bit M28.6 goes from 1 to 0 until next calculation of the DIV_R function. So which network is correct network 5 or network 6. Which method is the correct in situation like this, when i want the data (real...int...) to be remembered in the some MD address until next impact to this address. So which network is correct network 5 or network 6? Hello The_beginer I'm afraid to say that neither Network is correct as either will detect a0 to 1 transition of M28.6. If you however change the --(P)-- to an --(N)-- instruction, then both will do the job, in which case though I would use the logic in NW 5 (the extra move in NW 6 is wasteful and achieves nothing). One more thing, make sure to have MD26 as part of the retentive M area (declared inCPU properties) if you need it to retain its value after a CPU restartor use a DBD alternatively. I hope this helps.
