S5 to S7 conversion with DO instruction

First FB code and this all that this FB consists of: NAME: PT/0 = F 141.7 BE Second FB code, pops up on multiple locations inside with different variations but practically all the same: M008: DO FW 145 JU FB 0 NAME: PT/0 I can see that all of these multiple locations rewrite new value to first FB but I don't know how to rewrite program, can I have some help? fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 9/3/2025 Posts: 3049 Rating: (1062)	Hi mr.petrovicc the "DO FW 145, JU FB 0" program will call an FB based on the number that is in FW 145, e.g.: FW 145 has a value of 0, FB 0 will be called FW 145 has a value of 13, FB 13 will be called FW 145 has a value of 155, FB 155 will be called FW 145 has a value of 245, FB 245 will be called While this was not uncommon in S5 with calls to PB's and SB's to implement for example Sequencer logic, it is rather uncommon to do so with FB's (albeit allowed). My advice, find out what possible values FW 145 can have in the program first so you can identify the FB's that are being called. Thereafter, rewrite it all in S7 to suit (and although Step7 does cater for UC FC xyz calls via indirect addressing, you are well adviced to stay away from this)
