Symbol Table option Grayed Out

Lucky123 Gold Member Joined: 12/20/2008 Last visit: 9/3/2025 Posts: 556 Rating: (237)	When I try to create a project on S7300, I can see that Symbol table is working, I can import and export from Symbol table. However, in Case of S7400 H, Symbol table option is grayed out. Looked at the Help section but did not find any reason for it being grayed out. Have you expereinced this issue, Let me know, how can I fix it? Step7 version 5.4, SP5

Can you give any other informations on your configuration (are you administrator on the computer, snapshot of your program, ...)? Best regards, yy1

smiffy Platinum Expert Joined: 1/17/2007 Last visit: 7/10/2025 Posts: 1561 Rating: (540)	I think that you have to have the CPU highlighted to get the symbol table option to be available. In your picture you have a DI card highlighted. Try selecting the CPU and try again.

In your picture you have a DI card highlighted. Try selecting the CPU and try again. Yes Sir, It works fine. Wonderful. I just did not notice it. But when I cross checked my S7300 and S7400 configuration, By default S7300 configuration goes to CPU, thats why I am able to see it. On the other hand for S7400H CPU it, by default it goes to H Sync Submodule. Thanks once again for all your help
