symbolic addressing in dbs

hello community,

i need advice of an more experienced step 7 user) be it a positive or negative answer, i guess it can be solved within a minute, i just cannot find the answer in the net by myself.

well, i am writing a program, using different dbs including strucutres. the problem is that the program and especially data structure is still in process, so it happens that i need to make changes or add variables in the dbs, not only at it's end but also somewhere within the db's address range.

my problem now is, that every time i do such a change, all symbolic variables in my program are shifted, that means, they keep their absolute address, but change the symbolic name to which variabel ever now is at this very address position in the db, thus a wrong variabel/value is used.

how can i change the setting such that the programm will always use the very same symbolic name, but point to the corresponding address in the db, even when it possibly changed?
