TIA V11 uploading Program crash

IrontigerZ Joined: 1/16/2025 Last visit: 2/28/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I have faced a problem with TIA V11 SP2, it is an S7-1200 CPU, programed with TIA V11. When I tried to upload the PLC program from the PLC, the TIA will crash every time. and I found out the problem is with OB1. when online with the PLC, I can open up all other FCs, DB, Counter etc. but when try to open OB1, The TIA will crash , require restart or close. see attached screen capture. my system is windows 7 with TIA V11 SP2 installed. PLC is CPU1214, and the PLC program is developed by TIA V11.( have no source code, so need to upload). I have tried windows XP with TIA V11, the same problem. any idea? Thanks advance. If the program crashes when trying to enter the oB1, it may be indicative that there are corrupted temporary files that may have been corrupted. These temporary files are saved in the project's IM folder, so I recommend regenerating it. All files in this folder are recreated using a completely new build. The next FAQ "How do I delete the IM folder from the TIA Portal project?" may be helpful. I hope it works 🍀
