PDGANGANI Posts: 165 Rating: (19)	Hello, I amusing Wincc TIA V11 sp2 proffesional for scada. Now i want to use Menu & Toolbar, But somethimg went wrong when i open Menu&Toolbar settings --unexpected error comes and TIA Protal shows Restert application dialoge. Now what can i do?? Its very urgent please reply fast Thanks

TomDeWou Platinum Member Joined: 11/15/2006 Last visit: 3/26/2025 Posts: 1319 Rating: (176)	Move the file Settings.xml from C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Roaming\Siemens\Automation\Portal V11\Settings\ to another folder. Then try again, the file should be created new, then check again. If it doesn't work replace the new file with the old one again.

Hello thanks for sugestion ,I have tried same you mentioned but problem remains same. I have installed same software package from Original DVD in other PC also.But in that also i face same problem. Pl. help
