There are many differences in the Digsi project

Colleagues, good afternoon.

I need to configure the Modbus RTU protocol on Siprotek Compact 7SJ80. There is an RS-485 interface.

1. Using Digsi 4 via USB, I connected to the terminal.

2. I created a new project and clicked Divece -> Digsi. Everything was unloaded from the terminal.

3. While in Online mode, I go to the Interface. There I configure Modbus RTU.

4. I click the OK button, open the interface again and the Digsi->Divece button becomes active.

5. I click the button, it loads into the terminal, the terminal reboots.

6. We check Modbus - everything is ok.

Now, if I compare projects before and after changing the interface, I get a lot of differences. I can't understand where these differences come from and how critical they are.

“Terminal” is the Siprotec device?
Dont configure it online.
If you want to copy the onlie configuration, create a plug&play device, this will retrieve the configuraiton of the device.
then while offline, configure Modbus, select a Mapping - check the manual for the options - and when everythig is ready, download it to the device.

"select a Mapping - check the manual for the options"  -Do you mean the Modbus configuration file?

This large number of differences is due to the fact that I did the configuration in online mode?
