Hi, You can use following commands to make confirmation box using VB script: DescriptionDisplays a message in a dialog box, waits for the user to click a button, and returns a value indicating which button the user clicked.SyntaxMsgBox(prompt[, buttons][, title][, helpfile, context]) The MsgBox function syntax has these arguments:

Siemens solution from FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26729052 There are also several others ways, for example creating your own pdl with buttons Yes and Cancel. this pdl you can put in an invisible picture window on your screen or startscreen. Clicking the I/O-field, you can make your picture window visible. Cancel just closes the picture window, Yes executes your code. VBS-msgbox is not recommended as it can pause other running script, which can cause serious problems? If you want, you can also play with Operator-Control Enable. Set "Operator-Control Enable" of the "dangerous" I/O-fields by default to "No", make an internal binary tag like "OperationEnabled" which you can manipulate on your screens by having an extra button "Enable/Disable setpoints". This button toggles the internal tag and link this tag to the "Operator-Control Enable-property of your I/O-fields. Other option is using different users. Choices enough. |
