The program selection from the PLC works like this:
1) It is assumed that you have put together your assignment list of the programs which you want to select from the PLC ( see below for a description of how to do this).
2) When you want to select a program out of the assignment list you simply write the line number from the assignment list for the program into DB1700.DBB1000 in a single PLC scan , do not write continually.

The system will select the program and write DB1700.DBB1000 back to zero.

3) The 808D example PLC with SBR 47 does basically just this. as you will see if you take another look at it. In SBR47 you put the line number in the assignment list on the parameter "PP_num"
4) If you select a line number in the assignment list which is empty. You will not get an error number, DB1700.DBB1000 will still be written back to zero by the system and there will be nochange in which program is selected.

10) From the main screen press key combination Alt N to get to the service screen
11) Press softkey PLC ( make sureaccess level is manufacturer) to get the softkey Program List
12) The assignment list can be put together with programs from the main program directory (mpf) or from the manufacturer directory (cma) . Use the TAB key to navigate between the source directories and the list. The line number in the list is what should be entered into DB1700.DBB1000.
