I'm using S7 & WinccV7.2

i need show Date and Time in Wincc for production data's. is there any way can show, year/month/day & time in I/O field......Becoz in I/O field we have only Binary,decimal,String,Hexadecimal only...

I think of the following options:

1. Decompose the" Date and Time" variable into basic structure as explained in the following link(https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/adsearch/resultset.aspx?region=WW&lang=en&netmode=internet&ui=NDAwMDAxNwAA&term=sfc1&ID=21222026&ehbid=21222026).
   
   
2. It is also possible to convert Hex or INT values to STRING, store the components of Date and Time in a DB and convert them by HTA or I_STRING.Read more here (/tf/WW/en/Posts/107469)

When data are available with tangable addresses, use them in WINCC.Try and update.

You can modify the code to do the same for variables of type TOD and TIME,
