error when I migrate winnc flexible 2007 project to wincc felxible 2008

Berkant Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	hi Anyone, when I try to open project which is created by wincc flexible 2007 at wincc flexible 2008 there is a error as "conversion of project failed.". I call my local siemens support and they told me save as my project as 2005 project at 2007 and open again at 2008. but its not worked. could you help me, please? best regards, Attachment error.JPG (318 Downloads)

aguere Posts: 48 Rating: (1)	Hello, I had the same error to convert wcflex 2005 to wcflex 2008. I try a lot of time, change configuration, etc....Only time I could convert ok. I tell you, I have done a new proyect, and copy and paste the original project to new proyect, I copy all, and I try convert new proyect to wincc flexible 2008 and now ok. You can try with this way, remember new proyect and copy paste from original proyect to new proyect. I´m sorry for my poor English

Hello S.S.D.D. , My problem was from sql database files. I erased them and reopen flexible project. Also I send file to siemens help center to solve my problem and they send me a hotfix to fix that problem. after migration or before migration you should erase sql file and reopğen flexible files and then remigrate project to 2008. I'm sorry for poor information but my memory in that days is not good enough to remember old project :( maybe you will find solutions for your problem at ; https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll/31796860?func=ll&objId=31796860&objAction=csView&nodeid0=16502685&lang=en&siteid=csius&aktprim=0&extranet=standard&viewreg=WW&load=content&subtype=133100 I hope you solve your problem as soon as possible.
